Description: |
These colorful irregularly shaped tiles are formed from 1/8-inch-thick slabs of stoneware clay rolled onto a particular patterned surface. The slabs are painted with lavender underglaze, then each raised square is additionally decorated with turquoise underglaze and dotted with dark green underglaze. Sealed with a glossy clear glaze, they are fired to 2300 degrees, then broken into shards ranging in size from ˝-inch to 1 ˝ inches. They’re waterproof and frost-resistant, and we’ve used them outside on birdbaths, birdhouses, flowerpots, and fountains. Inside, they’re great on lamp bases, chair backs,
and coat racks. Up to 15 pieces, depending on sizes of individual tiles.
