Description: |
These irregularly shaped tiles are formed from rolled-out slabs of stoneware clay, 1/8-inch-thick. The slabs are decorated using handmade roulettes and leaf stamps. They are painted with a unique glaze that shades from cream to rust-red, and fired to 2300 degrees. Broken into shards ranging in size from ½ inch to 1 ½ inches, they’re waterproof and frost-resistant. Outside they’re handsome on stepping stones, planters, flowerpots, and birdhouses. Inside they’re a striking addition to backsplashes, tabletops, frames, shelves, and chair backs. Up to 15 pieces, depending on sizes of individual tiles |
