Description: |
These irregularly shaped tiles are formed from rolled-out slabs of stoneware clay, 1/8-inch-thick. The slabs are decorated using handmade stamps and roulettes, several of the patterns taken from fragments of antique bricks found in our yards. The slabs are painted with two unique glazes to achieve the golden color-breaks, and fired to 2300 degrees. Broken into shards ranging in size from ½ inch to 1 ½ inches, they’re waterproof and frost-resistant. They’re elegant outside on fountains, birdbaths, stepping stones, and garden plaques. Inside they’re beautiful on frames, backsplashes, chair backs, tabletops, and shelves. Up to 15 pieces, depending on sizes of individual tiles
