One of us is a mosaicist, the other a ceramic artist who works in mosaics. Both of us were having difficulty finding mosaic supplies that included unusual glazed ceramic mosaic tiles or unique accent pieces to use in our projects. We began to make these ceramic tesserae ourselves. Friends asked us for more, and gradually a business was born.
As well as being one-of-a-kind pieces, all of the accents and many of the tiles are formed of stoneware clay, glazed, and fired to 2300 degrees F. They are extremely durable, water- and frost-resistant, and they will make a unique addition to any collection of mosaic supplies.
